New Northeast Kingdom Running Group
Here’s yet ANOTHER reason Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom is the place to be, live or visit!
Starting Sunday, November 27, 2011, a new running group (“St. J. Striders”) will meet on Sunday afternoons at St. Johnsbury Academy. Though informal to start, the club hopes to become a formalized Road Runners of America club and offer a year-round calendar of running events. Runners of all levels are welcome! Yep, that includes wannabe runners, marathon dreamers, regular runners, experienced racers–and everyone in between! This is a great opportunity to meet other runners and “recommit to running as we head into those cold winter months.” There is no fee, but participants must sign a registration form and provide emergency medical information.

(The gym will be open until 4 p.m. to use bathrooms and change clothes or shower after running.)
